Construction crews have almost completed the north side of the new sidewalk installation on Asylum Street. Construction of the new sidewalk on the south side will start later this summer.

About the Hartford BID
- Hartford BID
- The Hartford BID is an organization of taxable property owners in Downtown Hartford and Asylum Hill. These property owners in June '09 overwhelmingly passed a city referendum reauthorizing the BID for a new 5-year term. The BID focuses its efforts on improving public safety, ensuring the streets are clean and marketing businesses, retail and cultural assets of the District.
